At Athey Creek Church, we count it a real privilege to serve the Lord and to come together around His Word. From the very beginning, the church met not only in large settings, but also “from house to house” continuing steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine, fellowship, prayer, and the breaking of bread (Acts 2:42–47). Our Watch Parties follow that same simple pattern, giving people a way to come together, grow, and hear the teaching of God’s Word in their homes.

As we serve in this way, Scripture calls us to walk in Christlike character, “clothing ourselves” with compassion, humility, patience, and love (Colossians 3:12–17). Jesus reminds us that we are the light of the world (Matthew 5:14–16), and Paul exhorts us to “conduct ourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ” (Philippians 1:27). Our desire is that the way we live and host would support and strengthen the work the Lord is doing through His Word in our homes.

In essence, Watch Party Hosts open their homes to support Athey Creek’s teaching ministry by providing a warm, welcoming environment where others can come together to hear God’s Word.
